El Dia de Muertos Parte III / Day of the dead Part III

As my partner Ibeth explained so wonderful, last weekend the 1st and 2nd of November, we celebrated in Mexico and in parts of Latin America, The Day of the Dead, so we all celebrate in different ways, even here in Araro. In the case of my family, we always put an altar for be loved ones who passed away in our house, and at the cementary, in these altars we place specific symbolism of our culture, as our grandmother Nazaria used to tell us, whose roots are indigenous -- Veracruz, giving all who visit both the house and the cemetery, any appetizer dish, sweet, and so on. that we have placed for this special occasion.

I show to you, some photos that I captured in the cementary on the second day and some of the little altar in my house.

Tal como lo explico de maravilla mi compañera Ibeth, el pasado fin de semana 1 y 2 de Noviembre, celebramos en México y en varias partes de Latinoamerica, El Día de Muertos, así pues, todos lo festejamos de diversas maneras, incluso aquí en Araró, en el caso de mi familia, tenemos por costumbre poner un altar de muertos en nuestra casa, así como en el panteón, en dichos altares colocamos simbolismos específicos de nuestra cultura, tal como nos los transmitió nuestra Abuela Nazaria, cuyas raíces son indigeno - veracruzanas, ofreciendo a todos los que visitan tanto la casa como el panteón, cualquier aperitivo, platillo, dulce, etc. que hayamos colocado para esta ocasión tan especial.

Les muestro de esta manera, unas fotos que capture en el Panteón el día dos y unas del pequeño altar en mi casa.

Señorita Araro 2009 / Miss Araro 2009

As we had previously reported, on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 of October, the event of Miss Araro 2009 took place, since, as we have noticed, the election of the Queen of the independence festivities was canceled on September 15 due the flood that happened on that day, so this practice was about to be canceled, therefore, Adal Lopez Guerrero, decided to take control of the situation and organized the event now called Miss Araro 2009, where the girls that participated on the 15th decided to collaborate in this event now, being not only an event, but with one cause, for all that is secured in these two days, with the disco show, the presentation of the candidates and the selling of all kinds of typical Mexican food and with the coronation funds, is intended to continue with medical treatments of Lupita and Jenny who has kidney disease.

The event was a success, particularly as I could not attend on Saturday for personal reasons, but on Sunday, I was invited by Adal to conduct the event, and by some comments I heard from people from Araro and Zinapecuaro the event on Saturday went on smoothly, for now I owe the photographs of those two days, because as I mentioned, I am gathering material of Saturday, to leave no detail uncovered. Como les habiamos informado con anterioridad, el pasado sabado 24 y domingo 25 de octubre, se realizo el evento: Señorita Araro 2009, pues como se habran dado cuenta, la eleccion de la Reina de las Fiestas patrias se cancelo el pasado 15 de septiembre debido a la inundacion que se registro en dicho dia, por lo que esta costumbre estaba a punto de ser cancelada, por ello, Adal Lopez Guerrero, decidio tomar las riendas de la situacion y organizo el evento ahora denominado Señorita Araro 2009, donde las chicas que participarian el dia 15 de Septiembre, decidieron colaborar ahora en este evento, siendo así, no solo un evento mas, sino uno con causa, pues todo lo que se recaudo en estos dos dias, con la disco show de presentacion de las candidatas y con la kermese de coronacion, los fondos que se recaudaron seran destinados para continuar con los tratamientos medicos de Lupita y Jenny.

El evento fue todo un exito, en lo particular no pude asistir el dia sabado por motivos personales, pero el dia domingo, fui invitado por Adal para llevar a cabo la conduccion del evento, y por los comentarios que he escuchado de algunas personas de Araro y de Zinapecuaro, todo salio a pedir de boca, por el momento les debo las fotografias de los dos dias, pues como lo mencione, estoy recopilando material del dia sabado, para no dejar ningun detalle sin cubrir.

Un agradecimiento a todos los que participaron en este evento, a los patrocinadores, a los organizadores: myspace.com/noxtrodoeventos, a las candidatas y a todos ustedes que con su cooperacion y participacion hicieron de este un evento digno de repetir para el proximo año.

Señor de Araró, me dirijo a ti por que se que eres muy milagroso, antes que nada quiero agradecerte por la fortaleza y el apoyo de toda la gente que me rodea, quiero pedirte un favor muy especial, quiero que me ayudes en esta prueba, existe una posibilidad muy remota de que no tenga cáncer, te pido que me hagas el milagro de desaparecerlo o si es tu voluntad que pueda conservar mis órganos para que pueda tener una familia, te pido la fuerza y la serenidad para afrontar lo que venga, sabes que amo la vida y quiero ser feliz.

Por ultimo te pido, que le des fortaleza, salud, trabajo y amor a todos mis seres queridos, ya que esto no ha sido nada fácil para nadie.

Lord of Araro´s miracles. Part 1 / Los Milagros del Señor de Araró - Parte 1

My partner Ibeth and I, were thinking on Monday about, what information would climb to the blog this week, after much thought, we decided to include some testimonials that have been left in the Shrine of the Lord of Araro. This urn is a cross-shaped box, in which the Lord of Araro is protected during his transfer to Zinapécuaro and return to his sanctuary.

This urn is covered throughout the year, with photographs, flowers, drawings, letters, little miracles, rosaries, among many other things, that cover almost entirely.

So on Tuesday we went to take pictures of the box (urn), we were surprised, then, as is done periodically, the cleanup of the urn, by removing the majority of those presents and requests that the visitors leave, but even so, we review all these details which had been removed.

We leave with a series of photographs and testimonies, as well as some more photos of the box as it is now, and some who had previously taken by Ibeth.

We also show some photos of the small room adjoining to the church, which retained some of the miracles that the Lord has granted to his faithful people.

Mi compañera Ibeth y yo, estabamos pensando este lunes, acerca de, que informacion subiriamos esta semana al blog, despues de tanto pensarlo, decidimos incluir algunos testimonios, que se han dejado en la Urna del Señor de Araró.

Esta urna, es una caja en forma de cruz, en la que se resguarda al Señor de Araró, durante su traslado a Zinapécuaro, así como de regreso a su Santuario. Dicha urna se va cubriendo durante todo el año, con fotografias, flores, dibujos, cartas, milagritos, rosarios, entre muchas otras cosas mas, que la cubren casi en su totalidad.

Asi que el martes que fuimos a sacar las fotos de la urna, nos sorprendimos, pues, como periodicamente se realiza, ya le habian hecho una limpieza, retirando la mayoria de los presentes y peticiones que los visitantes dejan, pero aun así, pudimos revisar todos estos detalles que se habian quitado.

Les dejamos pues, una serie de fotografias y testimonios de los fieles, asi como unas fotos mas, de la urna como se encuentra actualmente, y algunas que Ibeth habia tomado anteriormente.

Tambien exponemos algunas fotos del pequeño salon contiguo a la iglesia, en el que se conservan algunos de los milagros que el Señor de Araró ha concedido a sus fieles.
