The peaceful town of Araro / El pacifico pueblo de Araró

Araro Michoacan, a small town endowed by nature with abundant hot spring shoots that are used in their baths because the water is soothing and medicinal. In addition to these natural heaven Araro gave another invaluable treasure: Christ the Lord of Araro, image that for centuries has awaken feelings of faith and devotion, not only in the village or region, but throughout the country and from a few years ago in the United States and several foreign countries abroad. Being practically on the banks of Lake Cuitzeo, part of the land is saltpetre, which is used for edible salt, extracting it with an almost artisanal technique. All these attractions together with the warmth and hospitality of its inhabitants make it a great place to vacation and enjoy a rewarding weekend.

Araró, Michoacan, es un pequeño pueblo dotado por la naturaleza con abundantes brotes de aguas termales que son aprovechados en sus balnearios, pues sus aguas son relajantes y medicinales. Ademas de estas riquezas naturales el cielo dió a Araró otro invaluable tesoro: El Santo Cristo Señor de Araró, imagen que desde hace siglos a despertado sentimientos de fe y devolcion, no solo en el poblado o en la región, sino en todo el pais y, desde hace unos años en Estados Unidos y varias partes del Extranjero. Por encontrarse practicamente en las riveras del lago de Cuitzeo, parte del terreno es salitroso, por lo que se utiliza para obtener sal comestible, extrayendola con una tecnica casi artesanal. Todos estos atractivos en conjunto con la calidez y hospitalidad de sus habitantes lo convierten en un excelente lugar para vacacionar y disfrutar de un reconfortante fin de semana.
