Semana Santa Araro 2009 / Holy Week in Araro 2009

The past days, from April 5 to 10 of 2009, was held as usual, the representation of the Holy Week, beginning with Palm Sunday, where several people gathered at 11:30 pm in the chapel nest to the cementary, to receive the blessing of the palms and welcome Jesus and his apostles in a procession on that side of the town were was started and finished at Church. In the atrium of the Church took place on Thursday night the Acts of The Last Supper, The Prayer in the Garden, the Betrayal of Judas, the Apprehension of Jesus and Peter's denial, with a very good response from locals and vacationers, it went very well, as expected, ending these representations about the 23 : 30 hrs, the next day would have the Trial of Jesus and the Cross, the people gathered at 11:00 am to witness the moment of the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ, with enough heat, were successfully completed this tradition, which is prepared several weeks in advance, by volunteers from the locality.

We hope that next year will again consider these representations, not to lose our traditions that year after year are presented in Araro. Thanks to all the participants for their time and effort, especially Mr. Ismael Guerrero, who always has good teams organize actors and technicians, who enable it succeed.

Los pasados días, del 5 al 10 de Abril del 2009, se llevo a cabo como es costumbre, la representacion de la Semana Santa, comenzando con el Domingo de Ramos, donde varias personas se dieron cita a las 11:30 hrs en la capilla de panteon, para recibir la bendicion de las palmas y la bienvenida a Jesus y sus Apostoles en una procesion se comenzo en dicho lugar y termino en la Iglesia; el Jueves se realizo en el atrio de la Iglesia los Actos de La Ultima Cena, La Oracion en el Huerto, La Traicion de Judas, La Aprehension de Jesus y La Negacion de Pedro, con una muy buena respuesta por parte de los Lugareños y Vacacionistas, todo salio muy bien, como era de esperarse, terminando estas representaciones aproximadamente a las 23:30 hrs; al dia siguiente se tendria el Juicio de Jesus y el Viacrucis, las personas se reunieron a las 11:00 hrs para presenciar estos momentos de la Pasion y Muerte de Jesucristo, con bastante calor, se culmino con exito esta tradicion, que se prepara con algunas semanas de anticipacion, por voluntarios de la localidad.

Esperamos que el proximo año tengamos de nueva cuenta estas representaciones, para no perder las traciones que año con año se llevan en Araro.

Araró, Michoacan, es un pequeño pueblo dotado por la naturaleza con abundantes brotes de aguas termales que son aprovechados en sus balnearios, pues sus aguas son relajantes y medicinales. Ademas de estas riquezas naturales el cielo dió a Araró otro invaluable tesoro: El Santo Cristo Señor de Araró, imagen que desde hace siglos a despertado sentimientos de fe y devolcion, no solo en el poblado o en la región, sino en todo el pais y, desde hace unos años en Estados Unidos y varias partes del Extranjero. Por encontrarse practicamente en las riveras del lago de Cuitzeo, parte del terreno es salitroso, por lo que se utiliza para obtener sal comestible, extrayendola con una tecnica casi artesanal. Todos estos atractivos en conjunto con la calidez y hospitalidad de sus habitantes lo convierten en un excelente lugar para vacacionar y disfrutar de un reconfortante fin de semana.
