My partner Ibeth and I, were thinking on Monday about, what information would climb to the blog this week, after much thought, we decided to include some testimonials that have been left in the Shrine of the Lord of Araro. This urn is a cross-shaped box, in which the Lord of Araro is protected during his transfer to Zinapécuaro and return to his sanctuary.
This urn is covered throughout the year, with photographs, flowers, drawings, letters, little miracles, rosaries, among many other things, that cover almost entirely.
So on Tuesday we went to take pictures of the box (urn), we were surprised, then, as is done periodically, the cleanup of the urn, by removing the majority of those presents and requests that the visitors leave, but even so, we review all these details which had been removed.
We leave with a series of photographs and testimonies, as well as some more photos of the box as it is now, and some who had previously taken by Ibeth.
We also show some photos of the small room adjoining to the church, which retained some of the miracles that the Lord has granted to his faithful people.

Among the attractions to be found in Araro, is one that could be considered part of the development of the town and its surroundings, this attraction is the Salt Being one of the economic activities which are carried handmade by some of the families in the region, mainly populated by a town called Zimirao, belonging to the Tenure of Araro. Considering it as something typical of Araro, then, that many people know or call the locals, such as Salted.

Salt extraction is possible to do because the ground near the lake of Cuitzeo is densely salitre.

The procedure for removing it is perhaps the primitive. In a cone of wood, and perforated hole at the apex with the same pointing down, gets up land fill. The cone rests on a mound of earth and below the opening of the cone is placed a container. On the ground that fills the cone is poured many bottles of water from the Hotsprings. The water is filtered and thrown into wooden canoes. These receive the rays of the sun all day, and the water evaporates, the salt is based.

In this way, it is possible to place the salt, either for the food industry itself, as for visitors and residents.

As my colleague Ibeth has mentioned, last July 15 was carried out in Araro, Michoacán, one of the traditions of the beautiful town, the Feast of San Buenaventura.
In the next posts we publish, we will try to publish the experiences we both live. This celebration was held on Monday 13, Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15, I had a slight injury that I could not attend the first two days, but missing Wednesday was unavoidable, but walk in slow motion. Thank God I had a great improvement and was able to walk almost normally, to start the festivities a few minutes from 5:00 pm, San Buenaventura was brought in a truck that was provided for this reason, therefore, left with the Band "Imperio Michoacano" which happily entertain the route, passing part of Morelos street, sports fields, the streets of Colonia Tepeyac and Guerrero Street, at about 6:00 pm arrived at the church, where the solemn mass was going to take part, because this would take time out for the confirmations of some teenagers who were specially prepared for this day. This concludes the Eucharistic celebration. In the square garden of the town were already rich snacks of Mexico, where people of the town, its surroundings and visitors enjoyed the delicious flavors of tamales, Enchiladas, Gorditas, ponches, buñuelos etc. . until we were surprised by the rain, all we had to guard a few moments in the Atrium of the church, although there were like children who enjoyed the rain. Shortly after returning everything to normal and expected forward the great fireworks that were prepared especially for our patron, until finally the time comes, after 9:00 pm was burning of these fireworks, so for a few minutes to enjoy this beautiful art that is retained by the teachers in Mexican fireworks, everything was wonderful at the end of the last part of the Castle (fireworks), called corona, the church bells chiming while warmly some flashes are formed in the dark of the night lighting up our faces, reflecting joy and faith, once completed, will be heard in unison applause were the closing of this great tradition.
No more will I say that those who were able to capture beautiful images, while reminding them that soon we will have some videos ready to post them for you.
